Plant Nursery Helpers Needed

The Friends of St. Andrew Bay’s Go Native! program is partnering with the St. Andrew Bay Center to provide plants that are native to Bay County to consumers. Volunteers are needed to repot plants, pull weeds and help with various other tasks. If you are interested in working in the nursery, please contact Lisa Keppner by e-mail or by calling 850-769-6247.

Native Plant Rescue Helpers Needed

With the amount of development we are experiencing in our community, there is no doubt that a piece of property you pass by every day is being developed. If asked, developers will often allow native plants to be “rescued” from the site before development begins. The Friends of St. Andrew Bay’s Go Native! program performs plant rescues. If you know of any potential rescue sites or would like to participate in our rescue efforts, please contact Lisa Keppner by e-mail or by calling 850-769-6247.

For further information on the Go Native! project and how you can "Go Native", please contact Lisa Keppner at 850-769-6247.
